In a bid to end the persistent threat of sit-at-home orders in Imo State, the state’s police command, alongside the military, DSS, NSCDC, NDLEA, Immigration, and FRSC, has ramped up security operations across the state. This joint security effort aims to eliminate any disruption to daily life caused by threats, particularly outside the state’s capital, Owerri.
Security agencies have launched large-scale confidence-building patrols in Owerri, Okigwe, and Orlu zones, demonstrating a strong presence to reassure residents and deter criminal elements from destabilizing the region.
