Yabacon Africa to Empower Innovators with N1 Million Grant at 2024 Event

Yabacon Africa is set to empower creative talents with a N1 million grant during its 2024 edition of ‘Yabacon Meet,’ scheduled for December 7 in Lagos. Themed “Innovating For A Brighter Tomorrow,” the event will bring together tech professionals, students, innovators, and investors to explore strategies for navigating challenges and driving innovation in Africa’s tech industry.

Participants will have the opportunity to pitch groundbreaking ideas live, with the winner receiving the N1 million grant to kickstart their vision. Jesse Essang, Founder of Yabacon Africa, described the grant as a meaningful catalyst, emphasizing its potential to inspire transformative ideas and foster collaboration among Africa’s brightest minds.

The event promises an engaging speaker lineup featuring notable tech leaders such as Abiola Rasaq, David Ike-Njoku, and Folake Dauda, who will share insights on software development, open-source technology, and artificial intelligence. This knowledge-sharing aims to equip attendees with the tools needed to thrive in Africa’s rapidly growing tech ecosystem.
