WomenStrong, an organization dedicated to empowering women and girls worldwide, has announced a unique opportunity for women-led organizations working on climate and environmental justice. WomenStrong is actively searching for organizations that are addressing climate-related issues in urban and peri-urban areas, with a particular focus on gender-responsive approaches.
The selected grantees will join a global cohort of partner organizations, committed to raising awareness and mobilizing women at the community level. Women are often disproportionately affected by climate and environmental injustices, but they are also at the forefront of efforts to combat them. WomenStrong is looking to support groups that understand this intersection and use it to drive impactful local action.
