The Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) is set to unveil a new digital platform for the Combined Expatriate Residence Permit and Aliens Card (CERPAC) applications on August 1, as part of the government’s initiative to enhance service efficiency and transparency. According to Assistant Comptroller of Immigration, Mr. Akinsola Akinlabi, the new online system will allow applicants to submit their CERPAC applications without the need for physical forms, effectively discontinuing the use of physical CERPAC forms post-July 31.
Akinlabi emphasized the importance of completing all application submissions by the deadline to avoid invalidation and loss of payment status. He encouraged individuals and companies to utilize the digital portal for a seamless application experience.
For any inquiries regarding this transition, applicants are advised to reach out to the Public Relations Office for assistance. The NIS remains committed to delivering improved, technology-driven immigration services in line with global standards.
