An American based and a worthy Son of Amiyi Akah Autonomous community in Njaba Local Government Area of Imo, Hon. Joe- Blaise Nnaemeka Akanazu , a philanthropist, international development expert, writer and Insurance guru , has unveiled his book titled “Soul and Spirit” a motivational and educational poems.
While speaking with newsmen in Assumpta Catholic Cathedral Church , Owerri, Imo State , on the 8th of January, 2025, disclosed that unveiling his book attracted high profile personalities who grace the event both from Imo state , Germany and more. It was noted that the Imo state Commissioner for Education, Prof. Johncliff Nwadike who was the special guest of Honour, Chief Paddy Obinna is the book Reviewer while Dr. Uche Perry Ekwunazu the chairman of the event and also United States Of America ( USA ) based pharmacist and a philanthropist who made a remarkable record.
The Author of the book Soul and Spirit , Hon. Nnaemeka , disclosed to the newsmen that the Soul and Spirit poetry for the heart plus more has been described as an Anthology packaged for educational purposes for the Nigeria Schools . He also said that schools across the country are using the poems during their morning assemblies , including NECO.
Lastly, he thanked all the Committees for their selfless effort and the schools that participated during the book launch and also extended his greetings to the Commissioner for Education Imo state, Prof. Johncliff Nwadike , Dr. Perry Ekwunazu, Chief Emeka Duru , Chief CJC Mmadueke , Hon. Chief Louis Duru and Chief Onyebuchi Egbeolu for gracing the event.
Chief Paddy Obinna, the book reviewer stated how he felt bad while reading Soul and Spirit , saying ” Reading Culture is Dead ” , Nigerians should go back to reading, we don’t read and also lost touch of our foundation, adding that soul and spirit started with morning mass and through the mass in an attempt to catch our soul and spirit but then finally cut our body which is evangelisation and colonization .
Chief Paddy, further review that it is very necessary to start a day with prayer , and also pointed out the fact that human beings have to be happy here , ” heaven is here and hail is here ” , adding that heaven and hail are man-made , “make heaven or hail for internity”.
In his conclusion, what the poetry is saying is that , there is need to start your day , everyday with prayer, morning prayer, he said .
In addition, Co-Launcher from Njaba Local Government Area, Hon. Chief Emeka Duru ( Ugwumba 1 of Amiyi – Akah Onodugo of Amurie Omanze ) expressed happiness for the author , Dr. Nnaemeka for his selfless and hugely delighted in championing the course of improving lives .
He commended his brother for taking his time in writing this poem and also encouraged the youths to put more effort in what ever they are doing , adding that writing is spiritual thing , when it comes utilize it for future usage.
