Cyber Culture Interface, a pioneering initiative of PARAC Concepts and Solutions, has been recognized for its innovative approach to cybersecurity education, securing a coveted spot among the YALI 100 cohort. Founder Olalekan Ilori will share his expertise at the Africa Tech Conference in Cape Town, South Africa, from November 11-14, 2024.
Recently, Cyber Culture Interface organized the Cybersecurity and Digital Sustainability Workshop (CDSW) at Tunwase High School in Ikeja, Lagos. This workshop aimed to educate students on the importance of cybersecurity and digital sustainability. Ilori emphasized, “We want to empower students with knowledge and skills to navigate the digital landscape safely and responsibly.”
The CDSW, held on October 24, brought together renowned experts in cybersecurity and digital sustainability. Ilori highlighted the often-overlooked connection between digital activities and environmental impact. “Digital sustainability is not just about technology; it’s about reducing our carbon footprint.”
Cyber Culture Interface seeks to create a culture of cybersecurity awareness and digital sustainability among Nigerian youth. Ilori stressed, “The earlier we start educating our youth on cybersecurity, the better equipped they’ll be to tackle digital challenges.”
To achieve this goal, Cyber Culture Interface aims to reach 50 schools within the next year. By empowering students to become cybersecurity ambassadors, the organization hopes to create a ripple effect, promoting digital sustainability and cybersecurity awareness nationwide.
